Anthropomorphic Kissing Salt and Pepper Shakers

Anthropomorphic kitchen ware was very popular during the 50's and 60's.  There's just something about humanized animals, fruits & vegetables, and other objects (spoons, teapots!) that appeals.  In my opinion no one does anthropomorphic better than Japan!

This sweet mid-century anthropomorphic kissing couple is in near-perfect condition with the original cork stoppers.  It was made in Japan, possibly by Norcrest.   Small in stature, stands just 3  1/2" tall.  Darlings!

Asking - $25
