Fitz & Floyd started out in 1960 as an import company in Dallas but soon expanded into creating and designing ceramic giftware, and later tableware. Their reputation grew due to the quality of their work and their designs. Today the company continues to sell many popular lines of figurines, mugs, snow globes, ornaments, and cookie jars that are of excellent quality and highly collectable.
This pretty pink and white vintage (early 1980's) Fitz & Floyd turtle is sometimes called a secret trinket box because it's "hidden" under the shell. It measures 4" wide by 3 1/2" tall and is in like new condition with no cracks or chips.
