Most of these pieces are from a line of kitchen/dining ware produced by Lefton simply referred to as "Grapes". The first pieces of Lefton china made in occupied Japan reached the shores of North America in 1947. Lefton was known for their fine quality of goods made in Japan where they continued to be produced up until the 70's after which production was moved to Taiwan and Malaysia. The quality has remained high and production under the Lefton label continues today.
